What it counts, times, and catches
Footfall and occupancy
How many people came in, which zones run busy, when the day peaks — counted as anonymous totals at doors and aisles.
Physical state & process checks
Is the pallet present? Is the station occupied? Has material accumulated? Did the expected step happen? The yes/no checks a supervisor walks the floor for, answered from the cameras already watching it.
Loss prevention
Potential loss events flagged for a human to review — unusual shelf and checkout-area activity, after-hours movement, repeated handling, activity outside expected zones — with the clip attached.
Operational exceptions
Define what should and shouldn’t happen — restricted-zone entry, blocked exits, presence after closing, an unattended station — and get an event the moment a camera sees it.
