What Dodo does
Dodo is a ready-to-deploy visual inspection system for manufacturing lines. Point cameras at your production line, define what "good" looks like, and Dodo catches everything that isn't — surface scratches, dimensional deviations, coating defects, missing components, and assembly errors.
Unlike custom vision projects that take months, Dodo ships with pre-built inspection pipelines. You configure defect types and thresholds, not neural network architectures.

How it works
Install cameras — works with any IP camera, USB industrial camera, or GigE Vision camera. No proprietary hardware.
Configure inspection — define pass/fail criteria, defect categories, and tolerance thresholds through the Dodo dashboard.
Validate — run Dodo alongside your existing inspection for a validation period. Compare catch rates and false positive rates.
Go live — Dodo takes over inspection. Results feed into your MES or trigger reject mechanisms automatically.

- Inline inspection — camera mounted at the production line, real-time pass/fail on every part
- Batch inspection — parts placed on a tray or conveyor, inspected in batches
- Roving inspection — handheld camera connected to Dodo for spot checks and incoming material verification
